The tyre is presented in a bespoke, museum-standard vitrine, conceived and built for this piece alone. Thick crystal panels, cut and polished to exacting tolerances, enclose the tyre on all sides and give an uninterrupted view of the race-worn rubber and Senna's signature from every angle. They are held within a heavy, mirror-polished chromed frame whose crisp mitred corners and flawless plating reflect the standard of fabrication throughout.

Inside, the tyre rests on discreet clear cradles, so that it appears almost to float above the illuminated floor of the case. Integrated warm lighting, with recessed spotlights overhead and concealed perimeter strips, draws out the texture of the tread, the yellow Goodyear Eagle lettering and the white signature against a deep black backdrop. Above the tyre, the McLaren International Certificate of Authenticity is mounted in its own polished frame, so that artefact and provenance are read together as a single composition.

The vitrine stands on a stepped, gloss-black plinth with a lit base, giving the whole piece the presence of a gallery installation. It is as suited to a private collection or a corporate reception as to a museum floor, and it arrives ready to display.

Goodyear Eagle Race-Used Slick Tyre — 1993 Brazilian Grand PrixDriven by Ayrton Senna aboard the Marlboro McLaren Honda MP4/8Hand Signed & Accompanied by McLaren International Certificate of Authenticity

An artefact of profound historical and emotional significance, this full-size Goodyear Eagle slick tyre was fitted to the Marlboro McLaren Honda MP4/8 and used in competition by Ayrton Senna at the 1993 Brazilian Grand Prix — the opening round of the Formula One World Championship season, held at the Autodromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagos, São Paulo.

The Tyre

A full-dimension F1 slick, the tyre retains its authentic race-worn condition — the rubber surface bearing the telltale heat cycling and wear marks consistent with Grand Prix competition use. The iconic GOODYEAR EAGLE lettering in bold yellow stands proud across the sidewall, with original team markings and compound identifiers still visible.

Signed directly onto the tyre in white marker, Senna's signature is accompanied by the year "93" and the inscription "Brazil" — a deeply personal dedication to his home race, in front of his beloved Brazilian fans, on a day that would etch itself permanently into Formula One folklore.
