Brazil National Team Jersey (Ágata/CBF) — Dual-Signed by Pelé & Ayrton Senna, 1992Two Brazilian Gods. One Shirt. One Moment in History.Framed with Original Photographic Proof of Encounter

There are pieces of sporting memorabilia. And then there is this.

What is presented here is not simply a signed shirt — it is the physical intersection of the two greatest Brazilian sporting icons of the twentieth century, united on a single canvas of yellow and green. Pelé and Ayrton Senna: the king of football and the god of Formula One, the two figures who, more than any politician or institution, defined what it meant to be Brazilian on the world stage.

This piece is, without question, one of the most extraordinary dual-signed items in the history of Brazilian sport.

The Jersey

An authentic Ágata-manufactured CBF Brasil national team jersey in the iconic canary yellow with green collar and cuffs, bearing the official Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) crest — the four stars of Brazil's World Cup victories — as worn by the Seleção during the early 1990s. The jersey is size XL and presented in excellent displayable condition, with the natural patina of age befitting a piece of this era and significance.

The Signatures

Two signatures appear across the front of the shirt, both in marker, bold and clear:

Pelé — in his characteristically sweeping, confident hand — signs on the left chest. It is the signature of the man widely regarded as the greatest footballer to have ever lived. Three-time World Cup winner. Over 1,000 career goals. The only man to whom Brazilians compared Senna in terms of national devotion.

Ayrton Senna — signed in full as "Ayrton Senna" — accompanied by "92", placing this signing unambiguously in 1992, the year Senna was a three-time Formula One World Champion, still actively racing, and at the absolute peak of his fame and legend. His signature sits on the right, completing a pairing that no collector could have dared imagine on a single item.

The Photographs

Mounted directly onto the shirt within the frame, a panel of three original photographs provides irrefutable photographic provenance of the encounter between these two men. The images show Senna and Pelé on a stadium pitch — shaking hands, standing side by side, and posing together before a packed grandstand. The "Café do Brasil" advertising board visible in the background, along with the packed crowd, points to a major Brazilian stadium occasion in 1992 — a charitable or ceremonial event bringing together the nation's greatest living sporting heroes.

These photographs are not supplementary — they are the provenance. They show, in colour, the moment these two men stood together, and from which this signing emerged.

Two Legends — One Nation

Pelé and Senna occupied a unique space in Brazilian culture — one that transcended sport entirely. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, when Brazil's football team was in decline and the country mired in political and economic crisis, it was Senna's victories on the Formula One circuit — unfurling the Brazilian flag on his victory lap — that gave a nation its pride back. The parallel between Senna's dominance and Pelé's legacy was one Brazilians felt deeply and personally.

To own an item signed by both of them — simultaneously, at the same event — is to own a document of that cultural moment. It is the rarest category of Brazilian sporting memorabilia that exists.

Presentation

The jersey is professionally framed behind glass with a vivid green mount, displaying the shirt in full with the three photographic inserts positioned at the lower left. The presentation is both museum-quality and visually dramatic — the canary yellow against green creating the unmistakable palette of Brazilian national identity.

This item is, in the most literal sense, unique. There is no comparable piece.

Two Brazilians. Two legends. One shirt.
