This set is a meticulously crafted replica of the McLaren MP4/6 steering wheel used during the 1991 USA Grand Prix. It has been faithfully reproduced to match the original dimensions and design features of the steering wheel. The accompanying Champagne bottle is an exact replica of the one opened by Ayrton Senna on the podium. The signatures have also been expertly replicated to mirror Senna’s autograph as applied in 1991.
To further enhance the authenticity of this set, and with McLaren’s authorization, we have produced a certificate modeled after the original. While it includes slight modifications, in compliance with restrictions preventing a full reproduction, it preserves the spirit and integrity of McLaren’s official Certificate of Authenticity.
