A Lamborghini Official Dealership Illuminated Double-Sided Sign, 1990s
A large circular illuminated dealership sign of drum construction, produced for official display at an authorized Lamborghini dealership. Executed in white-painted sheet metal and moulded plastic, the convex double-sided lenses each reproduce the Lamborghini shield in gloss black ground with the raging bull rampant rendered in gold, above the "LAMBORGHINI" wordmark in bold gold lettering to the upper register of the shield — identical to both faces, allowing the sign to be read from either direction of approach.
The unit is fitted with an internal illumination source, designed for wall or bracket mounting via the fabricated white-painted steel mounting arm and wall plate to the reverse, retaining its original wiring and stem-mounted electrical lead with plug fitting. The drum measures approximately 88 cm in diameter, a substantial and imposing example of period dealership signage intended for high visibility at a marque showroom or service centre forecourt.
Condition is consistent with age and genuine period use as exterior/interior dealership signage: light surface wear, oxidation, and handling marks to the white housing, with the printed graphics to both lenses remaining bold, bright, and well-preserved. The mounting bracket shows honest wear befitting an authentic in-service fixture.
