🔹 Historical Context: 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix

The race, held on 24 March 1991 at Interlagos, marked Senna’s first ever Formula 1 victory in Brazil, achieved in front of his home fans. Despite gearbox issues that left him stuck in sixth gear in the closing laps, Senna delivered one of the most heroic drives of his career, crossing the finish line utterly exhausted. His emotional podium celebration, where he could barely lift the trophy, became an iconic moment in F1 history.

Senna’s win in São Paulo was a cornerstone of his 1991 World Championship season, where he secured his third and final title with McLaren-Honda.
